How AIDA IoT was born

AIDA IoT stems from the experience of Field (a company belonging to the Sisgeo group) that has been providing advanced services in the field of geotechnical, civil, and structural engineering for about 25 years, in Italy and abroad. The experience directly gained on construction sites has allowed Field to develop distinctive skills in data acquisition, processing and analysis.

Field boasts a team of highly specialized professionals, including geologists, engineers, surveyors and technicians who can provide technical support to clients in the design, implementation and maintenance of monitoring networks dedicated to infrastructure.


How AIDA IoT works

AIDA IoT is based on an SQL server database, the most widely used query language for creating, modifying and managing data within a relational database. Through its web pages, data are always available to the user in both graphical and tabular formats.

Managing data with AIDA IoT

Data generation

Data recorded by sensors installed in the field are transmitted via the Cloud to an AIDA IoT server using different transmission protocols (FTP/API Rest/MQTT the main among others).

Data processing and validation

AIDA IoT processes and validates the data from an engineering perspective, making them available to the user in real-time in both graphical and tabular formats.

Data visualization and analysis

Users can select the data visualization mode, set customizable alarms, create customized periodic reports and simulate the evolution of monitored parameters using Machine Learning. Access to data can be through PC, tablets and smartphones.
